Portrait Unveiled at Pathfinder, Inc.
On Thursday, July 26, 2012, Pathfinder Board Chairman, Joan Zumwalt unveiled a painting created by renowned artist Roberta McGrath of Jacksonville, Arkansas. Zumwalt commissioned the three-and-a-half-foot by six-foot oil on canvas. The cost of the commission art by McGrath ranges from $10,500 to $60,000 according to the website.
The painting is a still-life painting of Pathfinder's Donald W. Reynolds Building, which is the corporate headquarters for Pathfinder in Jacksonville. The painting will hang in the lobby of the building located at 2520 W. Main Street in Jacksonville. Pathfinder, Inc., a nationally recognized nonprofit organization, is dedicated to the development and implementation of individualized strategies designed to enable citizens with developmental disabilities, and/or behavioral health needs, total access to community life. This year, Pathfinder is celebrating 41 years of service to the state of Arkansas.
McGrath's Paintings are in the permanent collections of the Clinton Foundation at the Presidential Center in Little Rock, the permanent collection at the Governor's mansion in Little Rock and in corporate and private collections in the U.S. and Canada. McGrath is known for portraits of former President Clinton, former Governor Mike Huckabee and Governor Mike Beebe.
