Day habilitation services are offered at two
locations (Jacksonville and Little Rock) to enable the 3 month
to five-year old child with developmental disabilities to
receive individualized services. |

These services may include day
care, skills training, self-help skills training, and
physical, speech, and occupational therapies as
prescribed by the child's physician.

The family will be
assisted in obtaining medical and psychological care
needed for their child. Snacks and meals are provided.

The integrated care program was established
to provide a normalization experience for children
enrolled in the preschool program. It combines care
and experiences for children with and without disibilities.

The primary goal of the integrated program is to
facilitate the overall positive development of all
children involved in the day care setting, enhancing
their readiness skills prior to enrollment in public
schools.

Eligibility Criteria |
Eligibility for this service requires two developmental areas of development:
motor, cognitive, communication, personal-social, and adaptive skills.
The children must also have a medical diagnosis which may include developmentally delayed. |
Scores for the Early Intervention program (0-36 months) requires a 25% delay or greater.
The Early Childhood Program (3-5 year olds) scores must fall two standard deviations or greater below the norm.
This service requires referral and treatment approval from the primary care physician and Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care. |
